The Board of Trustees for The Olive Branch Day Centre would like to invite expressions of interest for the establishment of a pilot project providing support to homeless people over the age of 18 in Newport. Funding has been secured for a 3 month pilot project with a view to extend to 6 months if funds can be secured. The funding available for the work will be £1000 per calendar month.

The aim of the pilot will be to set up the service in our newly acquired premises in Newport for three days a week and undertake qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate the project and ascertain the needs of the client group.

Your project brief must demonstrate:

• evidence of ability to conduct basic research

• relevant experience in setting up homeless project(s) for this specific client group

• experience of applying for funding

• any existing relationships with relevant services/agencies based in Newport that could support/complement the pilot project

• how you will build a volunteer base

We are looking for organisations or an individual to run the project.
